Steak House vs Home Cook

Steak houses cook their steaks SUPER HOT and we all know they are amazing… well sometimes. Since I been cooking at home and sous vide my opinion on steak houses have changed a lot. So, I decided to put it to the test. Today, I am cooking a steak @ 900°F just like the high end steaks houses do. Against my low n slow method, Reverse sear. Which way is the best way? Let’s find out right now.

HOW TO COOK A 900°F STEAK
1. Cook Indirect Heat @ (900°F / 480°C) until you reach core temp of (115°F / 46°C)
2. Sear for 1 min direct heat.
3. Rest for 5-8 minutes and enjoy.

HOW TO COOK A REVERSE SEAR STEAK
1. Cook it slow @ (250°F / 120°C) until you reach core temp of (115°F / 46°C)
2. Sear steak, when searing is happening steak will reach its final temp of (135°F / 57°C)
3. Rest for 5-8 minutes and enjoy.
