Vegetable Sizzler is the sizzling and yummy assortment of various vegetables along with the spices. The sizzler is served on a hot sizzling plate with the smoky and aromatic sizzling taste. Chef Ruchi Bharani teaches you how to cook sizzler easily at home!
Ingredients:
For Rice:
1 tbsp Oil
1&1/2 cup Boiled Rice
2 finely chopped Spring Onions
1 tbsp chopped Garlic
2 finely chopped Green Chillies
1/2 finely chopped Capsicum
1 finely chopped small Carrot
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
For Stir-Fried Vegetables:
1 tbsp Oil
1/2 cup broccoli blanched
3-4 baby corn blanched
4-5 mushrooms chopped
1 cup chopped colored bell pepper
1/2 chopped onion
Carrot Juliennes blanched
1/2 cup Paneer cubes fried
1 Small potato cubed and steamed
Salt to taste
1&1/2 tbsp red chilli sauce
8-10 French beans blanched
For Sauce:
2 tbsp finely chopped garlic
2 tbsp finely chopped ginger
4 finely chopped green chillies
1 finely chopped spring onion
1&1/2 tbsp Soya Sauce
1tbsp chilli sauce
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp Oil
1&1/2 cup Water
Salt to taste
Fried Noodles
Few cabbage blanched
Method:
– Pour oil in a hot pan
– Add chopped capsicum, garlic, carrots and stir fry them for about 2 mins
– Add finely chopped green chillies, boiled rice, salt, pepper, spring onion leaves and mix everything well
– Again pour oil in a hot pan
– Add chopped onions, coloured bell peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, french beans, baby corns, carrots, steamed potatoes, paneer and stir fry them
– Add salt, red chilli sauce and toss them well and cook it till its ready
– Pour some oil in a hot pan
– Add ginger and sauté it for a minute
Add green chillies, soya sauce, ketchup, chilli sauce, 1/2 cup water
– Meanwhile in a bowl mix a cup of water and cornflour
– Add the cornflour mixture in the soya sauce mixture, simmer it and let it cook till the sauce is thick
– Add salt a little bit and some spring onions
– Heat the sizzler plate for about 4-5mins. It has to extremely hot.
– Reduce the flame and put some blanched leaves on the plate
– Place the rice, vegetables, fried noodles on the hot sizzling plate
– Pour the sauce over it and sprinkle some spring onions on it
– Place the sizzling plate on the board and the vegetable sizzler is ready to be served
